Laura Heesacker, LCSW,.

Laura Heesacker, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience. Laura is a consultant, mentor and clinical supervisor across the pacific northwest facilitating the development of behavioral health integration programs. During her years with Jackson Care Connect/ Care Oregon she helped to develop an integrated behavioral health primary care payment model and provided technical support to a network of primary care practices in the development of integrated behavioral health services with an eye to financial sustainability. She is the co-founder of Synergy Health Consulting which provides consultation to clinics in the process of developing pain management, substance use and integrated behavioral health programs. Laura has many years of experience as an integrated behavioral health consultant within medical settings as well as her own private practice, The Center for Health and Wellbeing.

Alicia Schmidt, LCSW,.

is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been privileged to work in the fields of community health and mental health for the last 18 years. She is a co-founder of Bridges to Well-Being, an organization that relies on building relationship and providing behavioral health care for those in need. Alicia moved to the valley 9 years ago and started working in behavioral health integration where she came alongside Laura Heesacker and the Oregon Pain Guidance. There they were able to develop innovative programs to address the impact of opioids within the community. Alicia is also co-founder of 360 Integrative Consulting where she and her colleague have supported health centers in opening and implementing new primary care sites that include integrative modalities. Alicia runs a small private practice where she specializes in use of EMDR for trauma support.
